Postmodern Faith?

What does postmodern faith look like? I found this on a guy's blog who posts primarily in the form of scribbled cartoons...

Is this how it is? Has our devotion to skepticism (so we'll never play the fool) overpowered our need for hope (a posture inherently dependent & vulnerable)? Has "postmodern faith" become an oxymoron? Or am I just reading too much into this?

And how does this look in the light of 1 Corinthians 13:7 ... "Love always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres..."?
