Is this how it is? Has our devotion to skepticism (so we'll never play the fool) overpowered our need for hope (a posture inherently dependent & vulnerable)? Has "postmodern faith" become an oxymoron? Or am I just reading too much into this?
And how does this look in the light of 1 Corinthians 13:7 ... "Love always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres..."?
